Report Cards | | Skoch e-Governance Report Card 2005, October 2005. The project was executed over the space of eight months during Skoch visits to over a score of e-governance projects spread across the country, from Punjab in north to Sikkim in the east, down to Andhra Pradesh in the south. The projects were measured against 14 different parameters that included Ease of Use, Reduction in Corruption, Speed of Delivery, Service Level Agreements and so on. Some of the projects surveyed included, Suwidha - Punjab, Rural e-Seva- West Godavari, Rajiv Gandhi Computer Literacy Program - Assam, and, Land Records - Sikkim. The results were based on a random survey of users we met, and polled, during the course of documenting these projects. The survey was meant to be a dipstick recording of the views and experiences of users of such projects. Some of the projects visited earlier were revisited, to give a limited timeline analysis, but most were new projects, some an attempt to replicate the best practices from existing projects to other areas. |
 | | Skoch e-Governance Report Card 2004, October 2004. This was perhaps, the very first attempt to assess e-governance projects with a national flavour on a random basis, purely from a citizen's point of view. This project was executed over the space of four months during which researchers from Skoch travelled to several e-governance projects far and wide - from Maharashtra to Assam to Uttaranchal to Tamil Nadu. Some of the the projects surveyed included Aamar Sewa - Assam, Aarohi - Uttaranchal, Passports, Customs, CARD - Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nilam - Tamil Nadu, KDMC - Maharashtra. The projects were measured against 14 different parameters that included Ease of Use, Reduction in Corruption, Speed of Delivery, Service Level Agreements and so on. The results were based on a random survey of users we met, and polled, during the course of documenting these projects. The survey was meant to be an initial recording of the views of users of such projects. |
